The school prides itself of being fully inclusive and serving the needs of the local community.
We have string links with many organisations either in the community or those that serve the local area.
Hayward’s is part of the Crediton Learning Community and as such works with other schools in the immediate locality to bring greater opportunities for the children. Examples of events where there has been collaborative working include things such as local sports events and festivals (swimming gala, cross country, football, cricket and tag rugby tournaments), an annual performing arts concert held at the University of Exeter’s Great Hall, shared training events for staff, joined up working on areas of school improvement, sharing of staff expertise across schools and joint community events such as the online safety information sharing evening.
We are fortunate to be part of a community of schools who believe in working closely together to meet the needs of the wider community.
