Royal Wedding Day

Joining the rest of the country in wedding frenzy mode, the children of Years 5 and 6 came together for an afternoon of fun and frolics - what better way to celebrate Harry and Meghan's nuptials as well as the end of the SATs!

The children brainstormed, designed and resourced their own royal wedding-themed stalls, which were available for the rest of the school to visit. Stalls such as Design-a-Tie, Put a Ring on It, Royal Ring Toss, Sponge of Love, Royal Golf and many, many more kept pupils and parents alike entertained all afternoon.

A highlight of the day was the Wedding Cake Competition, which saw the children bring in a cake they had made at home. The quality and presentation of the creations amazed everyone, and the judges had an extremely hard time choosing a winner. Check out the pictures in the Royal Cake Stall album.
