Maths in Year 3

In Year 3, we build on learning from KS1 and move to working with numbers up to 1,000. We begin to learn more structured calculation methods.

All children have access to Times Tables Rockstars (TTRS) and should be accessing this regularly for a minimum of 30 minutes per week. By the end of Year 3, children expected to know their times table and division facts for the 10, 2, 5, 3, 4 and 8 times tables, working towards knowing all of their times tables (up to 12 x 12) by the end of Year 4.
