Teaching Assistant KS2 - Fixed Term

We are seeking to employ a teaching assistant from September 2025 to support the general learning of pupils in KS2 classes. This role is for mornings only and is a fixed term appointment to cover the adoption absence of another member of staff.  The role is likely to end in June 2026.

 

The successful applicant will work under the direction of the class teacher and school leaders to lead and organise activities for pupils within a Key Stage 2 class.  They will support the learning needs at an appropriate level for individuals to be able to access the curriculum and have a safe and enjoyable experience in school.  The role may include running interventions such as Regular Readers, Power of 2, Same Day Maths and Writing small group interventions.  Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is a requirement for this role.
