Tackling Health at Sandy Park 2019
We have been lucky enough to have the Exeter Chiefs come in and support us with 'Tackling Health' which supported our healthy lifestyles curriculum. They have taught us about maintaining a healthy lifestyle by eating a balanced diet, reducing our sugar intake, being hygienic and exercising regularly.
This term, 20 children from Year 4 were chosen to play a tag rugby festival at Sandy Park, the home of Exeter Chiefs to wrap our the 'Tackling Health' programme with other schools who received the programme.
After a short journey on the train, the children made their way to the stadium. There they played lots of tag rugby matches with other schools, showing all of the Hayward's Hero qualities, and some pretty good skills too. A great day was had by all.
Thanks to the adults who took us and the Exeter Chiefs for hosting the event.
